The Special Services Division is delegated the primary function of the investigations of crimes, police records and communications.

This Division employs sworn personnel as well as civilian employees.

Civilian employees serve as:

• Communication Operators
• Clerical Personnel
• Evidence Technicians
• Victim's Rights Advocates
• Maintenance Personnel

Sworn personnel serve as Detectives and Sergeants. Areas of responsibility include computer system administration, liquor licensing, hostage negotiation team, public information dissemination, forfeitures and various technology issues.
